Foxcroft Wine Co. Announces 6th Location in Raleigh’s North Hills

Charlotte native and restaurateur, Conrad Hunter, announces plans to open a new location for Foxcroft Wine Co. in Raleigh’s North Hills. This will be the company’s sixth location since the original opened in 2004 as a retail bottleshop in the historic Foxcroft neighborhood near South Park, from which Foxcroft Wine Co. derives its name. In addition to the original location, Foxcroft Wine Co. can also be found in historic West End Downtown Greenville,SC, the Dilworth and Waverly Neighborhoods in Charlotte, and Birkdale Village, set to open in early 2024, in the Lake Norman area.

“We’re excited to bring our homegrown wine bar and restaurant concept to Raleigh. North Hills is a perfect fit for us to start building a community in Raleigh,” said Conrad Hunter, Founder and CEO of Foxcroft Wine Co. “Ourbusiness model is unique, and we hope that Raleigh residents will embrace us.”

Foxcroft Wine Co. Raleigh will be in the Lassiter District of North Hills, in the space previously occupied by MidtownGrille. Renovations will begin immediately with plans to expand the patio space and upfit the interior to match the laid-back cozy aesthetic of existing Foxcroft locations. “Guests can choose from thousands of bottles of high-quality wine from around the world displayed on open shelves throughout the restaurant or choose from an extensive by-the-glass list,” says Wine Operations Manager, Shawn Paul. “At Foxcroft, you won’t find a typical restaurant pricemarkup on wine bottles. You can choose to enjoy a bottle tableside at the sticker price or bring it home at a discount.” Raleigh residents will also have the opportunity to join the popular Foxcroft Wine Club where you can subscribe to receive two bottles monthly and attend a free monthly wine tasting experience. Raleigh residents will also have access to the Online Wine Shop at Foxcroft.

The food menu is inspired by wine-driven cultures and features elevated classics like their famous House-Ground Burger and Truffle Fries. The menu will also feature shareable dishes including charcuterie boards and house-madericotta, house-made pasta dishes, and seasonally inspired entrées including steak, scallops, and fish, all made from scratch in-house.

Foxcroft Wine Co. Raleigh will host monthly ticketed Wine Dinner Events centered around a theme, wine region, orfeatured producer hosted by an expert guest speaker, as well as monthly pop-up wine-tasting experiences. “We are looking forward to welcoming Foxcroft Wine Co. to North Hills,” said Stacey Buescher, Managing Director of Operations for Kane Realty Corporation. “The addition of this vibrant and unique concept to our property will enrichthe local community and provide an exceptional experience for our patrons. We look forward to a fruitful partnership and the success of Foxcroft Wine Co’s newest location.”
