As a Senior Marketing Specialist, Valentina provides oversight of the marketing, branding, digital strategy, and community outreach efforts for Kane Realty’s portfolio of residential apartment communities. She works closely with the Director of Marketing and Resident Experience to implement the company’s vision of a consistently exceptional customer experience across all of our assets.
Valentina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts & Art History from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY. In addition, she was part of a collective, Urban Studio, at Art Basel for 6 years executing installations at various exhibits/galleries. Prior to joining Kane Realty, she worked in the multifamily industry as an Assistant Property Manager.
She was born and raised in New York City and relocated to Raleigh, NC in 2015 where she currently resides. Outside of work, Valentina enjoys cooking, painting, reading, and outdoor activities.
Vivien joined Kane Realty in 2020 and served as an Assistant Property Manager and a Property Manager before being promoted into her current role of Senior Manager, Operations Systems. In this position, Vivien implements, conducts training, and facilitates all property management software systems for Kane Realty’s Residential Property Management team. She also coordinates all policies and procedural systems and maintains documentation and compliance for all areas of property management operations.
Through a referral, Vivien started her career as a Leasing Professional at a well-established property in 2015. She quickly found her passion in real estate, and in the years since, has worked at various luxury communities from lease-up to stabilization in the Raleigh, Cary, and Morrisville submarkets. Vivien attended North Carolina State University and is a proud member of the Wolfpack. She is an active member of the Triangle Apartment Association and a board member of the Glenwood South Neighborhood Collaborative.
Since moving from California to North Carolina in 2003, Vivien has embraced her southern side and is now living in Raleigh with her husband and two cats. In her free time, Vivien enjoys reading, playing board games, trying new foods, and volunteering for the Vietnamese American Association of Raleigh.
As a Residential Property Manager at Kane Realty, Mary Helen oversees the day-to-day operations, resident relations, budgeting and overall financial performance of Allister North Hills, a 434-unit property located in North Hills. Mary Helen joined KRC in 2016, bringing 20 years of experience in residential property management and new construction with some of the largest management companies in the U.S., including Greystar.
Mary Helen is a Raleigh native, and graduated from Meredith College with a BA in Economics and International Studies with a minor in Spanish. She currently resides in Raleigh with her husband Lars, Samoyed Mishka, and kitty Felix. She is excited that her son Nicolai is currently carrying on a family tradition at NC State University! Mary Helen enjoys traveling and live music, is a fan of NC State football and Carolina Hurricanes hockey (go Canes), and loves spending time with family and friends.
As a residential portfolio manager at Kane Realty, Tiffany oversees the day-to-day operations, leasing strategy and execution, resident relations and team development for all assets within her assigned portfolio.
Tiffany joined the KRC team in 2014. Prior to working in residential property management, she attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and obtained a degree in elementary education. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at her home near downtown with her husband, James, and their dog, Barry. Tiffany also plays trivia once a week with a close group of friends and does pilates.
As the Regional Maintenance Supervisor of New Construction, Jerrell is responsible for performing quality control walks with contractors during the construction phase. This process ensures that apartment homes are delivered on schedule and with the highest quality.
Before joining Kane Realty in 2018, Jerrell worked as a dual site Chief Engineer for Hyatt Hotel & Resorts. This is the place where his famous quote “go the extra mile with a smile” was born. Prior to Hyatt, Jerrell worked as a Director of Maintenance in both Multifamily Residential and also Senior Living.
Jerrell is a classic car enthusiast and an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, cruising around town with the top down and cheering on the Eagles to victory!
Brendan is a Senior Residential Portfolio Manager at Kane Realty. He is responsible for the planning, marketing, operations, and lease-up of multi-family & mixed-use new developments.
After graduating from the business school at Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Resort, & Tourism Management, Brendan started his career managing Starwood and Marriott hotels in Myrtle Beach, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. He transitioned into property management in 2014 working with AvalonBay and UDR in Arlington, VA and Los Angeles, CA. Brendan has experience managing several types of luxury Class A communities, including lease-up, renovation, and acquisition.
Brendan moved to Raleigh in 2019 with his wife Alexandra, where they currently live with their son & daughter. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys traveling, spending time with family in OBX, hiking/biking, playing music, and he is a huge D.C. sports fan!
As EVP of Kane Residential, Rob oversees the operations and business development of Kane Realty’s multifamily management division. He is involved in the strategic growth and overall operating success of the individual multifamily assets in our portfolio and leading the team. He works closely with the development team in the development of future multifamily communities, and also works closely with external third-party ownership clients to help them realize their strategic vision.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Rob was Assistant Vice President for Medalist Capital, a commercial real estate financial services company that specializes in mortgage banking, investment advisory and defeasance. In this role, Rob was responsible for arranging a variety of financing solutions for developers, investors, and owners of commercial and multifamily real estate assets. Prior to Medalist Capital, Rob served as a senior political, legislative, and communications strategist in Washington, DC advising numerous policymakers, elected officials, and campaigns.
Rob and his wife, Sydney, both graduated from Wake Forest University and currently live in Raleigh with their children, Graham and Winnie, and their dog, Muggsy.
As Director of Maintenance, Josh Flippo oversees the residential maintenance teams along with planning and coordinating all renovations throughout the Kane Realty portfolio of multifamily communities. Prior this role, Josh served as the Regional Maintenance Supervisor for new construction projects, as well as Construction Manager on the KRC Construction and Development team.
Josh attended Chattanooga State and holds certifications from CAM, CPO, and Universal EPA/HVAC.
As Director of Marketing and Resident Experience, Sarah Allwardt develops and executes Kane Realty’s strategic vision for delivering a consistently superior customer experience across all our multifamily assets through enhanced technology, robust training, unique experiences, and exceptional service. She joined Kane Residential in 2019, bringing over 12 years of multifamily marketing experience from previous roles at Post Properties (now MAA) and RADCO Residential.
Sarah is an alum of Leadership Raleigh (LR48), and she holds a BA in English from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. She relocated to the Greater Raleigh area in 2019 after previously residing in Atlanta and Pittsburgh, and she enjoys exploring the Triangle with her husband, Will, and their two daughters. Outside of work, Sarah’s interests also include reading, cooking, cheering for the Braves and the Steelers, and trying new restaurants.
