Our Leadership
John M. Kane
John Kane founded Kane Realty Corporation in 1978. Today as its Founder & Chairman, John has successfully led an organization that has developed sustainable mixed-use communities, regional malls, neighborhood and community centers, office buildings, hotels, and health centers.
Kane Realty began work on its signature project, North Hills, in late 1999 with the purchase of numerous properties in Raleigh’s North Hills, embarking on a massive billion-dollar redevelopment that now encompasses 165 acres. North Hills, a mixed-use, multi-block district known as Raleigh’s Midtown, is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for its pedestrian-friendly and sustainable design which has made it one of America’s premier in-fill developments. Centrally located at the corner of one of Raleigh’s main thoroughfares and the I-440 beltline, North Hills is a destination of urban living, luxury hotel rooms, class A office space, premier dining, salons and day spas, high-end boutiques, a 14-screen movie complex, a state-of-the-art athletic club, and numerous gathering places.
John is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Chief Executives Organization and World Presidents’ Organization. John serves on the Economic Development Board of the NC Board and previously served on Boards of Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority, Duke Heart Center, Research Triangle Regional Partnership, NC Chamber, Duke Raleigh Hospital, Duke University Health System, and NC Symphony.
In 2004, John was recognized as Business Leader of the Year by Business Leader Magazine, received the Pillar Award by the Triangle Business Journal, the Impact Award by Triangle CREW, Developer of the Year in 2005 by TCAR, News and Observer “Top 10 to Watch in 2009,” 2009 Sir Walter Raleigh Award by City of Raleigh, 2010 Thad Eure, Jr. Memorial Award from the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (which recognizes an individual that has made a major impact on the Wake County hospitality industry). In 2015 John received the ULI Triangle J.W.Willie York Community Builder Award, the Triangle Business CEO of the Year award and the Triangle Business Person of the Year Award. The News & Observer named John the 2016 Tar Heel of the Year and in 2017, he was inducted into the Raleigh Hall of Fame for his significant and lasting contributions to the city of Raleigh.
John's association memberships include: The International Center of Shopping Centers (ICSC); Urban Land Institute (ULI); National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP); Downtown Raleigh Alliance; and the Regional Transportation Alliance.
Mike Smith
Mike Smith, CEO of Kane Realty Corporation, provides leadership and strategy oversight of development, leasing, management, and financing for the company.
Mike received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Mike is a Trustee on the Board at Wake Forest University and St. David’s School. He is a recent past Chairman of the Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (GRCVB). He also serves on the boards for the John W. Pope Foundation and the Raleigh Police Department Foundation.
Prior leadership roles include serving on the NCDOT Board of Transportation, the Executive Committee of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Wake County Economic Development Board and YPO Southern 7 Chapter Chair. He has also served on the boards of the Triangle Transit Authority (TTA), Downtown Raleigh Alliance, Center for Christian Study, and Midtown Raleigh Raleigh.
Mike is a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, an honor given for exemplary service to the state of North Carolina. Past awards include the Midtown Hero Award, TBJ’s “50 to Watch in Business”, and “Forty Under Forty”.
Prior to joining Kane Realty in 2001, Mike was Managing Director at PNC Capital Markets and Vice President at Banc of America Securities’ Capital Markets Group.
T.J. Barringer
As President and Chief Investment Officer, T.J. leads Kane Realty’s investment strategy while providing oversight of development and placemaking efforts. His team focuses on creating multi-phased urban developments and have established wholly new urban districts in the Triangle region.
He has direct experience with over three billion dollars of completed or under-construction development projects. His team’s developments have included the following products: office (2m sf), multifamily (5,500 units), retail (1.25m sf), hotel (1,000 keys). Almost every project has contained vertically integrated mixed uses. Notable projects include multiple developments comprising the North Hills district, the Dillon mixed-use, and the redevelopment of the Smoky Hollow neighborhood.
He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School.
TJ serves the local community in roles including: Triangle YMCA Finance Chair and board member, Raleigh Capitol Area Developments board member (Affordable Housing), and Triangle ULI Governance Member & Affordable Housing Committee. He also serves at Hayes Barton Methodist Church through various service and outreach programs. T.J. and his wife Jessie are the proud parents of two boys – Jones and Hayns.
Bonner Gaylord
Bonner is the Chief Operating Officer for Kane Realty. He oversees day-to-day operations and directs members of KRC's commercial and residential property management teams on marketing, events, sponsorships, public safety, custodial, maintenance, tenant construction, and tenant relationships.
Bonner holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School where he was a Hobgood Fellow. He is a NC licensed general contractor, a NC licensed real estate broker, a LEED accredited professional through the US Green Building Council, a Friday Fellow through the William C. Friday Fellowship for Human Relations, and a Private Protective Services Board license.
Bonner was elected as a Raleigh City Councilor from 2009 to 2017 where he served on various committees and served as council liaison to multiple city-related organizations. Bonner has served on numerous non-profit boards and received the Forty Under Forty award in 2009 from the Triangle Business Journal, 10 to watch in 2010 by the News and Observer, and the 2011 Outstanding Public Servant award from the N.C. Center for Voter Education.
Jennings Glenn
Jennings is the Chief Financial Officer for Kane Realty. He joined KRC in 2005 and oversees financial strategy, planning, and coordination among all of the financial disciplines of the company.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Jennings was the Controller for Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. in Raleigh, where he was responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting. Preceding his time with Southern Industrial, he worked as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Raleigh and as an Associate with Blackman & Sloop CPA’s P.A. in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Jennings is a graduate of North Carolina State University and holds a degree in accounting. He also earned a degree in political science from Queens College in Charlotte.
His community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for The First Tee of the Triangle and the Board of Trustees for William Peace University. He also served as the past chair of the StepUP Raleigh Board of Directors and past chair of the Aldert Root School Foundation Board of Directors. He served as a member of the Salvation Army Board of Directors as well. He also served as a Deacon and is currently an Elder at White Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Jennings is an avid golfer and served as a member of the Host Committee for the Presidents Cup in Charlotte in 2022 and is currently an Ambassador for the US Open in Pinehurst in 2024. He was named one of the Triangle Business Journal’s “Forty Under Forty” for 2010 and was awarded 2015 Father of the Year by The Father’s Day Council in association with the American Diabetes Association.
Jennings is a member of several professional associations, including Urban Land Institute, National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, The International Center of Shopping Centers, and the Regional Transportation Alliance.
Warner Kuppin
Warner is the Chief Development Officer for Kane Realty. He leads and oversees the vision, strategy and activities of Kane Realty’s development and construction management teams. The teams primarily develop mixed-use districts with a focus on placemaking.
Since joining KRC, Warner has been involved in the development of projects with a total capitalization exceeding $2.5 billion. Earlier in his career, he was a lawyer with Hunton Andrews Kurth and a developer with Wood Partners. At Hunton, Warner practiced real estate finance law. At Wood, he oversaw multifamily development in the Carolinas, Tennessee and Virginia.
Warner holds a BSBA and JD/MBA from the University of North Carolina. While in law school, he was a member of the Banking Journal and graduated with honors. As an MBA student, Warner was a Dean’s Fellow and manager of the Real Estate Investment Fund. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle and the Board of Directors of the Raleigh Durham Chapter of NAIOP. Warner lives in Raleigh with his wife, a local artist, and two children.
Betsy Reade Creech
As Director of Talent, Betsy Reade Creech is responsible for Human Resources with a major emphasis on employee attraction, retention and development, all centered around Kane Realty’s Mission and Values. She loves working with the various teams companywide, recruiting and onboarding new team members, and partnering with leadership to drive employment engagement throughout the growing company. Before joining Kane Realty in 2016, Betsy Reade enjoyed contributing in a variety of settings including large global companies and smaller, fast-paced, startup technology companies.
Betsy Reade attended UNC-Chapel Hill where she received her BS in Psychology & Industrial Relations. In 2019, she completed the NCSU Business Coaching Certificate Program. Her professional certifications include SPHR & SHRM-SCP. Betsy Reade’s community involvement includes White Memorial Presbyterian Church and WakeEd Partnership Board of Directors. One of Betsy Reade’s favorite things is spending time with her husband, Gray, their children + spouses, and grandchildren (2 grandsons and a recent addition of identical twin girls!), preferably on the North Carolina coast.
Greg Kuruc
Greg is the Senior Director of Development for Kane Realty. In his role, he oversees the underwriting and financing of the company's new developments and acquisitions, and ushers projects through the entitlement, design and construction phases. Greg has over 15 years’ experience with various development types with an emphasis on vertically integrated mixed-use products.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Greg worked as a Development Associate with the Raleigh-based multi-family development company, Boylan Development Company.
Greg is a graduate of North Carolina State University and holds a degree in business management and a minor in accounting. He is a member of ULI-Triangle where he has held various leadership positions through his work on the Board for the Young Leaders Council. Additionally he is active in the community through his involvement with NAIOP, the Regional Transportation Alliance, and Triangle Community Coalition.
Greg resides in Raleigh with his wife and three children.
Hooker Manning
As Director of Office Leasing and Development, Hooker is responsible for business operations including the leasing, development, marketing, and business development related to Kane Realty’s office portfolio.
Hooker is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in Raleigh’s commercial real estate market. Prior to joining Kane Realty in 2015, Hooker was Vice President of Leasing and Development for Duke Realty’s Raleigh business unit, responsible for business operations of its 6 million square foot portfolio. Hooker has also enjoyed successful tenures at Trammell Crow Company and CBRE (and predecessor companies). Over the years, Hooker has had numerous award-winning transactions and developments recognized on both local and national levels, was a three-time winner of Duke Realty’s salesperson of the year and named to its master’s club six times for performance measures within the top 10% of the company’s overall leasing and sales production.
Hooker graduated from the University of North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Relations. He is active in the Triangle Area Office Building Association, NAIOP, and Wake County Economic Development where he serves on the Edge Leadership committee. He has served on the board of directors for Wake County Boys & Girls Clubs and Raleigh-based nonprofit Band Together and is an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
Joseph Butler
As the Director of Midtown Property Services for Kane Realty, Joseph oversees the day-to-day operations of the custodial, maintenance and public safety departments. In his role, Joseph leads an enhanced, operations and people-focused culture with Midtown Property Services. This community-first approach helps drive significant business results that keeps our communities safe, clean and inviting.
Prior to Kane Realty, Joseph spent 17 years in the hospitality industry with Darden Restaurants. He was the managing partner of two Capital Grille locations that each grossed over $8 million in revenue. He also assisted in eight restaurant openings across the U.S. During his time as Managing Partner, he was responsible for all daily operations, facility maintenance, training, revenue generation, and building relationships in the community. There he developed his passion for leading a large and diverse team, as well as property and facility management.
Joseph is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality. Joseph is an active part of his community. He currently lives in Apex with his wife Courtney and two children, Jake and Austin.
Josie Reeves
As Managing Director of Design, Josie oversees the project design and placemaking elements of Kane Realty’s new urban development projects including Mixed-Use Residential, Retail, Office, and Public Realm spaces. With oversight of interior and exterior design, building programming, and branding and positioning, Josie has direct experience with more than two billion dollars of Kane Realty’s completed or under-construction development projects in Greater Raleigh including North Hills, The Dillon, the Smoky Hollow District, and the upcoming Downtown South Entertainment District.
With a passion for story-telling and contextual urban design, Josie works across the full Kane Realty team and alongside a myriad of architects, interior designers, landscape architects, graphics teams, contractors, specialty trades - as well as local and regional artists and artisans – with the goal of creating memorable places that enhance the day-to-day experiences for those who “live, work and play” in Greater Raleigh.
Josie is a graduate of North Carolina State University and is active in the Raleigh community. She resides in Raleigh with her husband, Charlie, and two sons, Henry and George.
Libby Stubbs
As Managing Director of Finance for Kane Realty, Libby’s focus includes strategic planning for the company's assets and investment funds as well as financial reporting, cash management, and oversight of the accounting team.
Libby was an audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers where she focused primarily on publicly traded technology companies. Prior to joining Kane Realty, Libby took time to raise her three daughters.
Libby holds two Bachelor’s of Science degrees from North Carolina State University in Accounting and Business Management and a Master’s degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University. Libby is a Certified Public Accountant.
Libby resides in Raleigh with her husband, Chuck, and their children. Outside of work, Libby enjoys spending time traveling with her family and playing tennis.
Rob Reid
As Managing Director of Kane Residential, Rob oversees the operations and business development of Kane Realty’s multifamily management division. He is involved in the strategic growth and overall operating success of the individual multifamily assets in our portfolio and leading the team. He works closely with the development team in the development of future multifamily communities, and also works closely with external third-party ownership clients to help them realize their strategic vision.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Rob was Assistant Vice President for Medalist Capital, a commercial real estate financial services company that specializes in mortgage banking, investment advisory and defeasance. In this role, Rob was responsible for arranging a variety of financing solutions for developers, investors, and owners of commercial and multifamily real estate assets. Prior to Medalist Capital, Rob served as a senior political, legislative, and communications strategist in Washington, DC advising numerous policymakers, elected officials, and campaigns.
Rob and his wife, Sydney, both graduated from Wake Forest University and currently live in Raleigh with their children, Graham and Winnie, and their dog, Muggsy.
Sean Hill
As Vice President of Construction, Sean oversees all new construction for Kane Realty including multi-family, office and mixed-use developments.
He has experience managing and delivering over one billion dollars of completed or under-construction development projects. Sean’s notable projects include Midtown Plaza, The Dillon, Advance Auto Parts Tower, The Eastern and North Hills Expansion.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Sean spent six years with an Atlanta-based general contractor, Holder Construction Company, working on a variety of product types in Virginia and North Carolina. His management experience includes large-scale higher education facilities for the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech and UNC-Charlotte as well as commercial office building experience where he worked on the new Bank of America Tower in North Hills.
Sean is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Business Management. He is involved with several non-profit organizations in Raleigh including Healing Transitions and Emmaus House. In his spare time, Sean enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife Sarah and son Lawson.
Stacey Buescher
As Managing Director of Operations for Kane Realty, Stacey oversees the day-to-day operations at all commercial properties. Stacey is specifically focused on the retail and office operations side to ensure exceptional customer service throughout all relationships and partnerships. She also oversees the teams that focus on events and marketing, speciality leasing and construction upfits.
Prior to Kane Realty, Stacey started her career at IBM then moved to another local company, ChannelAdvisor. Her career at ChannelAdvisor spanned over 9 years and included various roles on the services side of the business. She led teams that supported over 1,100 US based clients with a wide range of size and scope. During her time at ChannelAdvisor, she effectively grew her teams to appropriately scale as the business’ footprint expanded. Currently, Stacey serves as a board member for Root Elementary Foundation and YMCA Properties and Facilities Committee.
Stacey was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina but has loved Raleigh since the first day she started college at North Carolina State University. She resides in Raleigh with her husband, Nathan, and two boys, Vann and Boone. In her free time, Stacey loves anything her two boys enjoy!
Steve Brown
Steve is the Senior Vice President and Director of Retail Leasing for Kane Realty. He primarily supervises all the company’s retail leasing activities. In addition, he is responsible for the direct execution of specific projects.
With more than 40 years as a real estate broker, 38 of which were exclusively in retail properties, Steve has experience with all types of shopping center projects, having leased properties ranging from small, unanchored specialty centers to multi-anchored regional malls to outdoor, mixed-use developments. His experience includes the leasing of new centers from the ground up as well as re-merchandising existing properties under redevelopment.
Prior to Kane Realty, Steve had associations with Rubin Strouse Retail in Philadelphia and North Hills, Inc. in Raleigh, where his focus was on traditional enclosed regional malls as well as distressed properties. Steve has been recognized numerous times by the Triangle Business Journal for the execution of significant retail leases. He was noted for the Triangle market’s largest retail lease for 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2011 and 2014 in addition to being recognized for the Top Retail Lease Transaction of the Decade in 2010. He was also honored with the Lease Transaction of the Year Award for 2012 by the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors and has been a member of their Million Dollar Retail Leasing Club for many years.
Steve has earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute and both the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) and Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) designations from ICSC. In addition to North Carolina, he also holds a Real Estate Broker License from the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a member of ICSC, the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors, the North Carolina CCIM Chapter and National Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM Institute).
Steve is a graduate of East Carolina University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in real estate. An active alumnus, Steve is an emeritus member of the East Carolina University Board of Visitors, having served as Chair of the Board from July 2011 through June 2013. He is also a member of the East Carolina University Educational Foundation, the College of Business Commerce Club and a Life Member of the Alumni Association.
Steve resides in Raleigh with his wife, Joanne. They have two grown daughters and three granddaughters. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time at the North Carolina coast.
Our Team
Adriane Karlinski
Adriane is the Senior Property Manager of MOSAIC at Chatham Park, a 44-acre mixed-use community in Pittsboro, NC. In this role, she oversees all daily operations, association management, budgeting, tenant relations, event scheduling, and event management.
Adriane previously served as the Property Manager of Stanhope Student Apartments in downtown Raleigh. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from UNC Wilmington. Outside of work, Adriane enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time at home with her family.
Alex Mikels
Alex works on the office leasing team, responsible for business operations connected to the leasing, development, and marketing of developments in Kane Realty’s office portfolio.
Notable leasing projects include One North Hills Tower, Bank of America Tower, Midtown Plaza, Tower 4, Tower 5 in the North Hills Innovation District, The Dillon and 421 N Harrington at Smoky Hollow. Prior to working with Kane Realty, Alex graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and spent time with CBRE-Raleigh. He holds a North Carolina Real Estate Broker License and is a current board member of the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA) and an active member of the The Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP).
Alex lives in Raleigh with his wife Nancy, their young son and golden retriever. Outside of the office, you can find Alex in the outdoors, playing golf or spending quality time with family.
Alice Lowe
In her role as Major, Public Safety, Alice Lowe oversees public safety operations in Kane Realty’s North Hills and Downtown Districts, and she has played an integral role in the Public Safety Department’s planning and coordination efforts.
Prior to joining Kane Public Safety, Alice served as an Emergency Management Specialist with over 20+ years in the security industry, including experience in EBI, XSM, Sprocket CMMS, Honeywell, Lenel and a host of other security systems software.
Alice holds a degree in Business Administration, and she is a NC PPSB Certified Instructor as well as a North Carolina notary. She is also a licensee of the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art and has earned certifications from both FEMA and OSHA. Outside of work, Alice enjoys fishing, hockey, and football (GO COWBOYS).
Allen McCollum
As a Director of Development at Kane Realty, Allen is primarily responsible for the oversight of new development and works closely with all stakeholders of the development process by leading projects through design, entitlements, budgeting, financing, construction administration, and stabilization. Since joining Kane Realty in 2016, Allen has been involved in the capitalization and development of projects totaling +$1 billion and has held various leadership and support roles across the development pipeline and operating properties.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Allen held various positions in the financial services industry at Bank of America, First Citizens Bank, and Prudential.
Allen is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he holds a BS in Business Administration and of Wake Forest University where he holds a MBA. Allen has been a licensed real estate broker in the State of North Carolina since 2009 and completed Leadership Raleigh and Bell Leadership Institute’s cornerstone program.
Allen lives in Raleigh with his wife, Katie, two children, Hallie and Bo, and beagle Badin.
Allie O'Hara
As the Senior Residential Portfolio Analyst at Kane Realty, Allie assists with various financial and quantitative analyses across the portfolio including under construction, lease-up and stabilized multifamily projects.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Allie worked for IHS Markit as a Research Analyst doing stock surveillance and investor targeting for various S&P 500 Industrial companies. She also spent some time at SAS as a Consulting Business Development Manager assisting Telco companies with implementation of SAS products.
Allie grew up in Emerald Isle and Clayton, NC, but has been living in Raleigh since starting school at North Carolina State University in 2015, where she earned a B.S. in Economics. In her free time, Allie enjoys cheering on the NC State Wolfpack (Go Pack!) and spending time with family and her golden retriever, Lyla.
Amanda Everington
As a Senior Portfolio Manager at Kane Realty, Amanda oversees the management of retail space in North Hills, to include all aspects of the day-to-day operations, tenant relations, budgeting, and overall financial performance.
Prior to joining KRC, Amanda began her career in student housing and has worked on different assets, most recently working for Greystar in various submarkets of Raleigh including Downtown and North Hills.
Amanda is from New Bern, NC and graduated from East Carolina University with a BA in Biology in 2010. She moved to Raleigh in 2011 and currently resides in Wake Forest with her husband, Jordan, son, Bryant and Silver Labrador, Jax. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, DIY projects, cooking, and anything outdoors.
Amanda McIntosh
Amanda Miller
As a portfolio manager at Kane Realty, Amanda oversees the day-to-day operations, leasing strategy and execution, resident relations and team development for all assets within her assigned portfolio.
Amanda began her career in the multifamily industry as a part-time leasing agent in Charlotte, NC and has managed a variety of different residential and mixed-use assets. Prior to joining Kane Realty, Amanda worked for TriBridge Residential as an area manager. She oversaw multiple assets across North Carolina within the Charlotte, Piedmont Triad, and Triangle markets. Amanda is an active member of the AANC, affiliated with both The Next Generation Committee and Task Force Committee.
Amanda was born and raised in New York City and relocated to the South East. She now resides in Raleigh, the city she proudly calls home. In her free time Amanda enjoys playing tennis and staying active!
Andrea Orndorff
As Senior Development and Property Accountant, Andrea prepares, reviews and analyzes financial information for development projects and operational properties.
Prior to joining Kane Realty, Andrea was a Senior Accountant with Venture Back Office, now TMF Group which provides back office and financial services for investment groups. Prior to TMF Group, Andrea worked as an Accountant with IAT Group in Raleigh, NC and as a Payroll Technical Lead with Liberty Healthcare Management in Wilmington, NC.
Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Accounting and Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Andrea lives in Raleigh with her husband Jon, and their daughters Olivia and Riley. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys cheering on the Tar Heels, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Becca Maloney
Becca joined Kane Realty in 2019 as the residential property manager of Vine North Hills, a 326-unit mid-rise community in North Hills. She now serves as a senior residential property manager, overseeing both Vine North Hills and Channel House. Becca started her career in the student housing industry, and she has worked on several different assets in North Carolina, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Prior to joining Kane Realty, she worked for Greystar overseeing a multi-site, student hybrid asset in Chapel Hill, NC. Becca received her North Carolina Realtor's license in 2018.
Becca was born and raised in Hampton Bays, Long Island, New York. She graduated from East Carolina University with a BSBA in Finance. She moved to the Raleigh area in 2014 and currently resides in Wake Forest with her husband Nick, daughters Grace and Rose, and their corgis Ricky Bobby & Eevee Badger. Outside of work, Becca likes spending time with her family, enjoying brunch with friends, and binge watching true crime shows.
Becky Priester
Becky Priester is the Residential Property Manager of The Row, a 335-unit mixed-use community located in Rockway, a new district of Downtown Raleigh. Becky began her career with Kane Realty as an intern on the Residential Property Management team in 2018, and she has served in multiple roles at many different properties since then. Most recently, she was the residential property manager of Park Central.
Becky graduated from UNCW with a degree in finance and a minor in psychology, and she is a notary public. Prior to joining Kane Realty, she worked on the accounting team for a commercial real estate firm. Born and raised in Raleigh, Becky enjoys trying all the new local restaurants and bars in her free time.
Betsy Reade Creech
As Director of Talent, Betsy Reade Creech is responsible for Human Resources with a major emphasis on employee attraction, retention and development, all centered around Kane Realty’s Mission and Values. She loves working with the various teams companywide, recruiting and onboarding new team members, and partnering with leadership to drive employment engagement throughout the growing company. Before joining Kane Realty in 2016, Betsy Reade enjoyed contributing in a variety of settings including large global companies and smaller, fast-paced, startup technology companies.
Betsy Reade attended UNC-Chapel Hill where she received her BS in Psychology & Industrial Relations. In 2019, she completed the NCSU Business Coaching Certificate Program. Her professional certifications include SPHR & SHRM-SCP. Betsy Reade’s community involvement includes White Memorial Presbyterian Church and WakeEd Partnership Board of Directors. One of Betsy Reade’s favorite things is spending time with her husband, Gray, their children + spouses, and grandchildren (2 grandsons and a recent addition of identical twin girls!), preferably on the North Carolina coast.
Bonner Gaylord
Bonner is the Chief Operating Officer for Kane Realty. He oversees day-to-day operations and directs members of KRC's commercial and residential property management teams on marketing, events, sponsorships, public safety, custodial, maintenance, tenant construction, and tenant relationships.
Bonner holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School where he was a Hobgood Fellow. He is a NC licensed general contractor, a NC licensed real estate broker, a LEED accredited professional through the US Green Building Council, a Friday Fellow through the William C. Friday Fellowship for Human Relations, and a Private Protective Services Board license.
Bonner was elected as a Raleigh City Councilor from 2009 to 2017 where he served on various committees and served as council liaison to multiple city-related organizations. Bonner has served on numerous non-profit boards and received the Forty Under Forty award in 2009 from the Triangle Business Journal, 10 to watch in 2010 by the News and Observer, and the 2011 Outstanding Public Servant award from the N.C. Center for Voter Education.
Bradford Ewing
Bradford is an investment associate at Kane Realty, where his responsibilities include working with the development and finance team along with pursuing new ventures for the firm. Previously, Bradford worked as an associate on the capital raising team at an NYC investment management firm, Horizon Kinetics. His primary responsibility was raising capital for Horizon’s private funds.
Bradford earned his M.B.A. from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2022 and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017. He is an active member of ULI. Bradford is from Charlotte, NC and enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and spending time with friends and family.
Brendan Willis
Brendan is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Kane Realty. He is responsible for the planning, marketing, operations, and lease-up of multi-family & mixed-use new developments.
After graduating from the business school at Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Resort, & Tourism Management, Brendan started his career managing Starwood and Marriott hotels in Myrtle Beach, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. He transitioned into property management in 2014 working with AvalonBay and UDR in Arlington, VA and Los Angeles, CA. Brendan has experience managing several types of luxury Class A communities, including lease-up, renovation, and acquisition.
Brendan moved to Raleigh in 2019 with his wife Alexandra, where they currently live with their son & daughter. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys traveling, spending time with family in OBX, hiking/biking, playing music, and he is a huge D.C. sports fan!
Caleb Waters
Before joining Kane Realty, Caleb served as a multifamily manager and held the role of Assistant Director of Family Housing at UNC Chapel Hill. He transitioned into commercial real estate in 2021 with Lundy Management Group, where he managed a portfolio primarily for UNC Health. He currently serves as the Commercial Property Manager of Advance Auto Parts Tower in North Hills.
Caleb holds a Bachelor of Music from Appalachian State University. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is an active performer with the North Carolina Master Chorale, loves to travel, and takes every opportunity to explore the great outdoors.
