Captain Cookie & The Milk Man to Open in North Hills

Kane Realty Corporation is excited to announce that Captain Cookie & the Milk Man, the beloved local bakery and dairy bar, known for its freshly baked cookies and creamy ice cream, will be opening in North Hills. The new shop will be located in the Lassiter District of North Hills, nestled between Sur La Table and Total Wine, and is projected to open in Fall 2024.

“The addition of Captain Cookie & the Milk Man adds to the fun and variety we want patrons to have when visiting North Hills,” said Stacey Buescher, Managing Director of Operations for Kane Realty Corporation. “Captain Cookie prides itself on using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, and we are thrilled to welcome another local favorite to the retail mix at North Hills.”

Founded by Kirk Francis, a lifelong cookie enthusiast, Captain Cookie & the Milk Man began as a food truck venture and quickly grew into a local favorite. Known for its commitment to quality ingredients and a fun, nostalgic experience, the North Hills location marks an exciting expansion. The new store will offer the same beloved treats in a convenient and welcoming storefront, where each cookie is baked fresh daily, and the dairy bar features milk and ice cream from local dairies, ensuring a delightful and wholesome experience for every customer. The company is best known for the joy it brings through its made-to-order ice cream sandwiches, where guests can combine their favorite cookies and local ice cream.

“We are thrilled to open our doors in North Hills and become a part of this wonderful community,” said Kirk and Juliann Francis, owners of Captain Cookie & the Milk Man. “Our mission has always been to spread joy through our delicious treats and our service to our community, and we can’t wait to share the cookie joy with our new neighbors.”

The North Hills shop will be Captain Cookie & the Milk Man’s second location in Raleigh, following the successful opening of their first brick-and-mortar store in Transfer Co. Food Hall in 2019. The menu features edible cookie dough, milkshakes and cookie cakes in addition to its award-winning cookies, ice cream and ice cream sandwiches.
