Julia Davis, a Raleigh local and entrepreneur specializing in real estate, hospitality, and lifestyle, has partnered with Marina Kaydanova, owner of BK Pilates, to bring the celebrated Pilates brand to Raleigh. The Raleigh studio will offer a variety of classes including 45-minute reformer group classes and private sessions in a modern, bright, and airy studio with state-of-the-art equipment.
Marina, who transitioned from the corporate world to open her first studio in Brooklyn in 2012, has expanded to multiple locations including New York, Charlotte, and Charleston. Now splitting her time between NY and NC, she leads world-class Pilates retreats while empowering others to embrace healthier, stronger lifestyles. Julia has been a long-time student and teacher of yoga and pilates, in addition to her successful career in real estate and hospitality. Julia first met Marina a decade ago, taking classes at a New York BK Pilates studio. Their instructor-student relationship developed into a friendship while they dreamed of collaborating on a business venture. Now, their shared passion for wellness is becoming a reality with the launch of BK Pilates Raleigh.
