The Annual Tree Lighting Celebration in North Hills is a beloved holiday event designed to spread good cheer and festive activity for the community. For over a decade, North Hills has hosted thousands of guests for a fabulous holiday program featuring live entertainment, kids activities, seasonal beverages & treats, and a vendor village. As Santa Claus arrives, the 41 foot Christmas Tree is lit amidst a joyous chorus of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”

Find locally-made goods and enjoy a night filled with music and entertainment with Triangle area artisans, food, and drinks at various open-air markets at our properties. In the past, we’ve partnered with groups like The MAKRS Society to bring these markets to life!

North Hills Kids is a seasonal series of fun-filled complimentary events that provide an opportunity for children to come together to learn, exercise, and socialize in an outdoor environment. Young guests and their caregivers are invited to attend special weekly programs featuring local children’s attractions, activity classes, and kid-friendly performances. Events are held in Midtown Park, in the morning, during the summer months.

The Wellness Wednesdays Series consists of fitness opportunities made up of two sessions in the Spring and Fall. Each session takes place on the grass lawn of Midtown Park on Wednesday evenings. These events encourage participants to “Get Your Fit On” by promoting whole-body wellness through a wide variety of fitness concepts.

Located in the ever popular North Hills Commons, the Midtown Farmers’ Market continues to be a community favorite. We take great pride in the fact that our “producers only” market provides local residents the opportunity to support North Carolina Farmers.
