As a Graphic Designer at Kane Realty, Shannon assists various teams in creating, designing, and editing materials. Assets include print and digital collateral for marketing/leasing brochures, presentations, proposals, pitches, site plans, signage, floor plans, leasing plans, social media, e-blasts, and websites.
Prior to joining KRC, Shannon began her design career working for ReedPOP, the leading producer of pop culture events in the world. Most recently she created her own design company, Xander Blue Design, and had been working with various companies to help them achieve their goals whether it be with launching a new brand into the market or creating their daily marketing assets.
She holds both a BA in Visual Communications from Endicott College and an MBA in Marketing from Fairfield University. Shannon is originally from Connecticut, but moved to Raleigh in 2018 looking to escape the cold winters. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys reading, yoga, running, and any other outdoor activities.
Alex works on the office leasing team, responsible for business operations connected to the leasing, development, and marketing of developments in Kane Realty’s office portfolio.
Notable leasing projects include One North Hills Tower, Bank of America Tower, Midtown Plaza, Tower 4, Tower 5 in the North Hills Innovation District, The Dillon and 421 N Harrington at Smoky Hollow. Prior to working with Kane Realty, Alex graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and spent time with CBRE-Raleigh. He holds a North Carolina Real Estate Broker License and is a current board member of the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA) and an active member of the The Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP).
Alex lives in Raleigh with his wife Nancy, their young son and golden retriever. Outside of the office, you can find Alex in the outdoors, playing golf or spending quality time with family.
Jennifer is the marketing manager for office and retail leasing and development at Kane Realty. An experienced marketing professional, she is responsible for marketing, strategy, branding, market research and positioning related to Kane Realty’s office and retail portfolio and corporate marketing.
Prior to Kane Realty, Jennifer was Regional Marketing Manager for Duke Realty’s east and northeast regions, responsible for management of all marketing activities for a large portfolio of office, industrial and medical office property.
In addition to the commercial real estate industry, Jennifer’s career also includes marketing roles with architecture and engineering design firms. She holds both an MBA and a BS in Business Administration with marketing concentration (Cum Laude) from East Carolina University. Jennifer is a Raleigh native. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her husband and two young sons.
As Director of Office Leasing and Development, Hooker is responsible for business operations including the leasing, development, marketing, and business development related to Kane Realty’s office portfolio.
Hooker is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in Raleigh’s commercial real estate market. Prior to joining Kane Realty in 2015, Hooker was Vice President of Leasing and Development for Duke Realty’s Raleigh business unit, responsible for business operations of its 6 million square foot portfolio. Hooker has also enjoyed successful tenures at Trammell Crow Company and CBRE (and predecessor companies). Over the years, Hooker has had numerous award-winning transactions and developments recognized on both local and national levels, was a three-time winner of Duke Realty’s salesperson of the year and named to its master’s club six times for performance measures within the top 10% of the company’s overall leasing and sales production.
Hooker graduated from the University of North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Relations. He is active in the Triangle Area Office Building Association, NAIOP, and Wake County Economic Development where he serves on the Edge Leadership committee. He has served on the board of directors for Wake County Boys & Girls Clubs and Raleigh-based nonprofit Band Together and is an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
